My only reservation is that I use the zero weight on wading beats only where there is little chance of snagging vegetation on the banks. Great fun to use when catching wild trout. Lovely action. Easy to load, Quick and very accurate. Make sure you use the sage quiet taper lines. Not cheap, but quality never comes cheap, eh?!

Posts: 8 25/06/2009 21:46:51	Finally managed to get the TXL out on a recent trip to the WYe at Monsal Dale on the 29th May, 9 fish the rod is outstanding, I was able to delicately place flies where previously Id been unable to! have been in France since so not had chance to post report. Matt
