I have just purchased a pair of the above waders.
In construction they are seamed and manufactured from the same material as Simms G3s. The construction is of a very high standard and seam tape appears to be the same.
These waders have fully detachable straps and have a draw string around the chest just in case
you wade a little too deep. Why have I changed from simms simply the current cost of these cloudveil and the spec is better than the g3s and cost under promotion £165 from the USA but you need to add another £24 for import duty.
Even with the current G3 reduced thats a saving of £90!
Note Cloudveil also sell a lighter version for less than £90 which again is constucted from Gore-tex but is based on a three layer system.
The coludveil 8xs also have better secure hand warmer pockets and top pocket all secured with water proof zips now you can sore your moble phone or small camera without too much fear of it getting wet after a short dunk.
The gravel gard is lighter than the Gs3 which should make them easier to take off at the end of a cold hard days fishing.
I am pleased with my first look at this product but as ever field testing over a few years will see if they are as rhobust as the simms only time will tell.
