Although this rod has been out for some time I had left my beloved sage at home and Danny allowed my to use his orvis for the day.
The rod is well built and beautifully finished its a fast action rod that allowed me to cast with ease the full width of the River Dee below Corwen
If anything after a couple of minutes I had fully adjusted to casting this as much as my own XP wt #5. four section 10 foot
The orvis Trident tls is an excellent rod that has bags of power and the ability to make light work of dry casting and czech nymphing.
I was able to achieve first class delicate dry fly presentation with no problems at all
If you are in the market for a new rod do be to quick to jump on the latest brand new rod band wagon. Fishing shops have caught more fisherman than fisherman have caught fish.
These are excellent rods.
