Posts: 6 16/10/2009 11:04:33	Tags : None Hi guys, Just signed up as I fancy grayling fishing this winter on the fly - spend most of my time working and latterly chasing salmon - (NOT VERY WELL) I hasten to add. Caught a few salmon spinning and on the single handle fly rod in the past - BUT spent the last THREE years blanking, trying to catch one on the DH rod. I mainly fish the Severn on PAAS waters around Shrewsbury. On the verge of giving up the quest now. I WAS a carp/pike angler for most of my life then got into this fly fishing bug in my old age. Caught a few grayling trotting but never fly fished for them - have done some dry fly stuff and did ok on the Dove when I was a member of the 59 fly fishers. So joined up hoping to learn from all you guys. Cheers Paul

I personally soon got fed up with salmon fishing as there numbers continue to decline and large estates now lease corporate time share on the best beats at prohibitive costs. I love most styles of fishing and take most opportunities to fish sea game or coarse pending conditions and time tried chasing the bass on the fly rod this year but it was hard to locate any in numbers close to my home. Posts: 15 20/11/2009 20:08:14	Hi , Dunblanemike,fellow resident of Scotland here(sassenach that snuck over the border),I fished the Earn at Creiff last year,trout but no Grayling.If you fancy a day in the new year give me a shout when you're out(I will be a bit busy from now to the end of this year)
